Barry Zekelman will take over the helm at Chicago-based JMC Steel Group following the resignation of chief executive officer, Frank A. Riddick III, the company announced Wednesday.
Riddick is stepping down to “pursue other matters,” the company said.
“We want to thank Frank for all his hard work and contributions while at JMC and wish him well in all his future endeavours,” Zekelman said in a statement.
Zekelman, a Lakeshore resident, also serves as CEO, chairman and president of Atlas Tube. Zekelman and his brothers, Alan and Clayton, are the principal owners of JMC.
