A Windsor man suing police for damaging his reputation is behind bars for allegedly breaching his bail conditions.
Jason Donald Nassr, 32, is facing trial for criminal harassment. He had been free on bail awaiting trial. Friday he was arrested for allegedly breaching the conditions of his bail four times by using a computer, something he has been ordered by the courts not to do.
Nassr is suing Windsor police for $5.5 million for falsely charging him in 2011 with sexual assault. The charges stemmed from a photo shoot in which Nassr took nude pictures of a woman. Police now acknowledge the woman lied about being sexually assaulted by Nassr.
Nassr said that by publicizing his arrest Windsor police have sullied his reputation. In documents filed with the courts, police say they were only doing their jobs.
