Enwin work on Walker Road that began Monday will result in the closure of only one lane of southbound traffic, the utility has announced.
Enwin crews are upgrading the underground hydro system on Walker north and south of the E.C. Row Expressway.
An earlier release said that the southbound lane of Walker would be closed, which created the impression that all southbound lanes would be closed.
In reality, one southbound lane will be closed, with traffic diverted into the other lane.
The one lane will be closed from 6:15 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. from Monday to Thursday for the duration of the project, which is expected to take three to four weeks.
