A 17-year-old Windsor male is under arrest and a second is at large after police were alerted to several break-ins to vehicles.
Just after 3:30 Saturday morning, Windsor police were called to the 2300 block of Glenwood Avenue.
A woman told police she had been awoken to the sound of breaking glass and saw two darkly clad males near a car with its side window smashed.
Officers and the K-9 unit tracked footprints in the snow and found an out-of-breath male on Huron Church. Police say he was “evasive” when questioned and was found to be in possession of property that may have come from cars that had been broken into.
Police learned four cars had been broken into. Some stolen property has yet to be located, along with the second suspect.
