If you haven’t seen the equal signs yet, you likely will soon; people on Facebook are swapping out their profile pictures and using these red signs instead as the U.S. Supreme Court discusses gay marriage.
The HRC asked its followers just yesterday to show support in this way: “Make sure you wear red to show your support for marriage equality. And make your Facebook profile red too!” The Facebook profile photo idea has quickly gone viral.
