Staff and students are now returning to Assumption High School.
“The evacuation has been lifted and all staff & students are returning to Assumption to complete the school day,” said a Tweet from the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board at about 1:35 p.m. Friday.
At about 11 a.m. Windsor police confirmed a bomb threat had been called in at Assumption High School.
The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board posted on its Facebook page just after 11 a.m. that “students and staff are safe and have been moved to Century Secondary School as a precaution.”
