Essex County OPP probe string of cottage break-ins

Essex County OPP are investigating a string of destructive break and enters to cottages in Colchester South.

The break-ins happened early Saturday in an area south of County Road 50. Police said someone broke into several seasonal cottages, stealing things and causing a lot of damage.

Anyone with information about the break-ins can call Det. Const. Renaud at 519-971-3073. You can also give an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
