OPP reopens westbound lanes of Highway 3, Highway 401

The OPP has reopened the westbound lanes of Highway 3 at Cabana Road and the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Provincial Road following a three-vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer.

Police say the injuries were minor but that the tractor-trailer had been jack-knifed across the roadway, snarling rush hour traffic.

The collision occurred about 4:30 p.m. and caused congestion for about an hour.
