Windsor fire crews responded to a small fire at Our Lady of the Rosary church this morning.
The call came in around 7:10 a.m. for a fire at the historic church at Riverside Drive East and Drouillard Road.
Crews responded to discover a small fire near one of the windows.
The blaze was contained to a small area and was quickly extinguished.
The smell of smoke hung in the air as crews scanned the church for hot spots.
The fire is under investigation and a damage estimate is expected to be released later today.
