A 34-year-old Windsor man has been charged with careless driving after the semi truck he was driving rolled over near the Ambassador Bridge Wednesday night.
Windsor police said the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when the tractor trailer rolled onto its side on Patricia Road near Union Street.
The truck was carrying a load of empty plastic racks and police said speed is believed to have caused the crash.
Police said the 2006 Volvo tractor and trailer sustained about $60,000 in damage.
The are was closed to traffic until about 12:30 a.m.
