The Windsor Fire and Rescue Services will host its annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial March on Sunday.
The march, hosted in partnership with the Windsor Professional Firefighters Association, will begin at Station 1 at 815 Goyeau St. All active personnel and retired members are encouraged to march in full dress.
There will be refreshments at 11:30 a.m. before marchers head out at 12:15 p.m. The 1.8 km march will end at St. Alphonse Cemetery on Ottawa Street, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m.
The Hook and Ladder Club, at 3690 Seminole Street, will host a post-march reception around 2:30 p.m.
