A 16-year-old boy is facing several charges after allegedly breaking into an Essex home and torching the place.
Essex County OPP were dispatched to a fire at a home on Klies Beach, near County Road 50 in Essex, shortly after 7 p.m. on Friday. While at the house, officers discovered there had also been a break-in, and several items were missing.
Police have since charged an Essex teenager with arson, break and enter, obstruction of justice and possession of property obtained by crime. His name hasn’t been released.
