The Windsor police major crimes unit is investigating after the body of a 45-year-old man was discovered in an east end home in the waking hours of Saturday morning.
Police responded to a call at 9355 Bayswater Ct. just before 9 a.m. after the landlord found the body of the male tenant, police said. The landlord also lives in the house and was believed to be renting a room to the victim.
The man is not from the Windsor area, police said.
Police said they won’t be able to pinpoint a definitive cause of death until Monday, because the body is being sent to London for postmortem analysis.
The death happened at some point during the night, police said.
Police said they are speaking with neighbours and are in the process of identifying the victim. The coroner has also been called in, police said.
