Hydro One is reporting there are still more than 1,000 customers in Essex County without power following the strong line of storms that ripped through the area Friday night.
Hydro One reports there are still 41 incidents they are responding to and 1,154 customers still without power throughout Windsor-Essex. All available staff are working at restoration efforts, according to Hydro One.
Power to the majority of affected customers is expected to be restored by Sunday at noon, according to Hydro One.
There were about 20 poles and 10 transformers across the province that were knocked down during the intense storms, Hydro One reports.
