Two Windsor males are facing charges after police found a .45-calibre semi-automatic pistol and more than a third of a kilogram of marijuana at their residence.
The raid happened around 5 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Shepherd Street East.
Members of the Windsor police drugs and guns unit executed a search warrant on the address, finding two occupants and the contraband.
The handgun was fully loaded with eight rounds of ammunition.
The total amount of marijuana seized was 398 grams. Also found was one gram of cocaine.
Police estimate the street value of the drugs at just under $4,100.
One of the suspects is 23. He faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, plus eight firearm charges in relation to the handgun.
The second suspect is 22. He faces one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking and two firearm charges.
