Windsor police arrested six men Tuesday and seized a semi-automatic shotgun, drugs and a stash of other weapons during an east end raid.
Police executed the search warrant around 5 p.m. in the 1000 block of Albert Road.
Officers found a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun, a rifle, various kinds of ammunition and 19 pellet guns. They also found 2.5 grams of cocaine, 251.9 grams of marijuana, 66.7 grams of psilocybin, 40 ecstasy pills and some cash. Police said the drugs are worth a total of $3,836.
Investigators later learned the shotgun had been stolen during a Nov.2 break-in at a home in the 1700 block of Balfour Boulevard.
A 24-year-old man and a 51-year-old man are each facing three charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of possession of a firearm without holding a licence.
Four other men are facing two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Police said more charges are likely.
