A hit and run accident in the 900 block of Walker Road sent a driver to hospital with serious injuries Sunday evening.
Windsor Police attended the scene for a report on a motor vehicle accident and were advised by a passerby that a van had struck a building.
Another vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene westbound on Niagara Street, proceeding southbound on Monmouth Road.
The hit-and-run vehicle is described as a smaller sedan, four-door and dark in colour, possibly blue or grey, with tinted windows. The driver is described as a white male in his mid-40s.
The driver at the scene was taken to hospital by ambulance. Initial reports were serious injuries, however after attending hospital injuries have been deemed non-life threatening, said Windsor Police.
The investigation is still ongoing.
