E.C. Row Expressway goes down to one lane for eastbound traffic starting Monday between Jefferson Boulevard and Banwell Road.
The lane reduction is necessary to allow road crews to do asphalt resurfacing, says a City of Windsor news release.
The reduction is scheduled to last until Oct. 11. During the lane reduction, ramps going on and off the eastbound lanes in the affected area will be closed for short periods. Traffic detours will be posted.
The work is one of 17 road projects listed by the city in its weekly construction update.
- Walker Road between Division Road and Ledyard Road has lane restrictions due to road reconstruction that will last to Nov. 15.
- Ottawa Street will be closed between Pierre Avenue and Moy Avenue for road and streetscape reconstruction that continues to Sept. 30.
- Willistead Crescent is under construction for sewer, water main and road rehabilitation until Dec. 23.
- Assumption Street is closed from Pierre Avenue to Hall Avenue for water main, road and sewer construction that will last to Nov. 22.
- Argyle Court is closed for water main and road rehabilitation until Oct. 11.
- Windermere Road between Seneca Street to Tecumseh Road is closed for water main and road rehabilitation that lasts until Oct. 31.
- Lincoln Road is closed to through traffic between Niagara Street and Wyandotte Street for water main and road rehabilitation that lasts until Oct. 31.
- Fairview Boulevard is closed from Wyandotte Street to St. Rose Boulevard for road, sewer and water main work that lasts until Oct. 30.
- Pierre Street is closed between Riverside Drive and Wyandotte for sewer and water main construction lasting until Nov. 22.
- Aubin Road is closed from Franklin Street to Seminole Street for sewer, water main and road work that lasts to Nov. 4.
- Arthur Road is closed from Seminole to Milloy Street for road, sewer and water main construction that lasts until Friday.
- Bertha Avenue is closed from Wyandotte to Riverside for water main construction that lasts until Oct. 31.
- Rankin Boulevard is closed from Grand Marais Road East to West Grand Boulevard for water main reconstruction that lasts until Sept. 30.
- Bliss Road is closed from E.C. Row Avenue East to Melinda Street for water main reconstruction that lasts to Dec. 13.
- Wyandotte Street East has lane restrictions from Gladstone Avenue to Langlois Avenue for water main and road work that lasts until Nov. 15.
- Riverside Drive East will have flagmen directing traffic during construction hours between Bertha and Martinique Avenue for water main reconstruction that lasts until Nov. 30.
