WXYZ Detroit reported that Detroit police and fire responded to a massive fire and HAZMAT situation at a commercial building on the city’s southwest side on Thursday afternoon.
Large plumes of smoke from the abandoned building were visible in Windsor as the fire raged well beyond 5 p.m. The building is located north of I-94 near Martin and Pistburgh streets in Detroit. There were no evacuations and or injuries.
