Windsor police continue to ask for the public’s help as they investigate the bizarre case of a woman who was struck and killed while walking down the middle of E.C. Row Expressway’s eastbound lanes.
Police are refusing to confirm the woman’s identity.
Officers responded Sunday around 6:45 p.m. to E.C. Row between Jefferson Boulevard and Central Avenue. Motorists had been calling about someone walking on the expressway. The woman was eventually struck by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at hospital.
Investigators want to hear from anyone who saw a woman walking along E.C. Row prior to the accident.
