Some late morning snow made for a picturesque Christmas scene Wednesday, but the slippery road conditions may have been behind two collisions in quick succession in Tecumseh.
Tecumseh fire crews responded to both collisions between 11:45 and noon. The first collision was on Tecumseh Road between Lacasse Boulevard and Bedell Street and caused minor injuries, a spokesman for Tecumseh fire said.
The second collision involved two vehicles at Manning Road and E.C. Row and caused two people to spend part of their Christmas Day in the hospital with minor injuries.
The fire department’s office was closed and no one was immediately available to provide further details.
