Windsor police are searching for a suspect after Gatsby’s Restaurant on Tecumseh Road East was robbed early Friday morning.
Police said the male suspect entered the restaurant around 1:30 a.m. and demanded cash.
An unknown quantity of cash was taken from the restaurant before the suspect fled.
Police said he was last seen fleeing southbound on George Avenue.
No weapon was seen and there were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 30-years-old. He is about five-foot seven, 180 lbs and had scruffy facial hair.
Police said he was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.
