McDonald’s supports local athletes

Area residents will have an opportunity Feb. 19 to show their support for amateur sports by celebrating Canada’s Olympic athletes at McDonald’s as part of the chain’s Ronald’s Fandemonium tour.

The company’s restaurant at 3354 Dougall Ave. will be transformed into a gathering place for Olympic fans.

McDonald’s is inviting area hockey teams and other local teams from across the region to participate in the Olympic  experience.

Players, coaches, families and guests will be treated to an array of Olympic-themed activities beginning at 6 p.m. and running for about 90 minutes.
