Windsor police are looking for a suspect who held up an east end convenience store for cash and smokes Sunday morning.
The robbery happened at the Petro Canada at 1110 Tecumseh Rd. E. just after 7 a.m. Sunday.
Police said the suspect threatened the 19-year-old clerk with a knife and demanded money and cigarettes.
The clerk complied and the suspect fled northeast toward Pierre Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build and grey sideburns. He was wearing light-coloured running shoes, dark jeans and a red hoodie under a light-coloured Nike windbreaker.
The windbreaker had two vertical dark blue stripes from the neck to mid-chest.The back of the jacket had a one inch light blue strip across the mid back with a thin dark blue strip just above. Police said he was also wearing a red, possibly neoprene style facemask with white gloves.
