Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store early this morning by threatening a clerk with a broken beer bottle, only to make off with a few coins.
“He brandished a broken bottle and he took some change and left,” Windsor police Sgt. Matt D’Asti said. “That’s all he get.”
A man wearing a dark-blue-and-white motorcycle helmet — but who did not arrive or leave on a motorcycle — allegedly walked into a 7-11 store at 278 Tecumseh Rd. E. around 3:20 a.m. and demanded money from the 48-year-old female clerk. He left on foot westbound on Tecumseh Road.
The male suspect is described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, and of average height and weight. He was wearing a dark, waist-length coat, dark jeans and black running shoes.
