Windsor police are investigating after human remains were found in a rail yard in the city’s core.
Officers were called around 2:30 p.m. to a rail yard near Caron Avenue.
Staff Sgt. Todd LaMarre said a rail company employee had discovered a body part near the tracks and contacted police.

Police are not disclosing specifics about the body part at this time.
Forensic identification officers and a coroner have been sent to the scene.
A section of the rail yard has been closed while the investigation continues.
