MP Van Kesteren receives new appointment from Stephen Harper

Chatham-Kent-Essex MP Dave Van Kesteren has been appointed chairman of the Conservative party’s Southwest Ontario Caucus.

He was appointed to the position by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Van Kesteren will replace London-West MP Ed Holder, who was recently named Minister of State for Science and Technology.

“I was pleased to accept the appointment by Prime Minister Harper,” Van Kesteren said in a press release. “I look forward to serving the people of Chatham-Kent, Leamington and the entire South West Ontario region in this capacity.”
