A 31-year-old Harrow man is facing impaired driving charges following a crash in Kingsville early this morning.
Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the intersection of Division Street South and Stewart Street just after midnight for a two vehicle crash.
Police said a yellow 2009 Ford Focus had struck a black 1994 Jeep Cherokee from behind which caused it to lose control and strike a tree.
The drivers of both vehicles sustained minor injuries but the vehicles sustained “heavy” damage.
The motorists were both transported to Leamington District Memorial Hospital as a precaution.
The driver of the focus, Tyler Rego, 31, of harrow, was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failing to provide a breath sample.
He will appear in a Windsor court on Dec. 6.
