An alleged teenage stunt driver has lost her licence and her wheels for a week after getting caught doing nearly 60 km/h over the speed limit on Highway 401.
A Chatham-Kent OPP officer was doing radar enforcement around 4:30 a.m. Saturday near Orford Road when an Audi sped by. The officer clocked the car at 157 km/h.
Jovina Avakian, 19, from Windsor, is charged with racing a motor vehicle. The officer also suspended her licence and impounded her car for seven days.
