Police are investigating after a 28-year-old Chatham-Kent man died following a motor vehicle accident in Chatham Friday night.
Chatham-Kent police said the man was driving a black truck and travelling eastbound on Cundle Line when he lost control between Lagoon Road and Fargo Road at around 7:30 p.m. The truck left the road, struck a hydro pole, became airborne, rolled multiple times and landed in a field, police said.
The man was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Damage is estimated at $30,000.
