The Rotary of Windsor Roseland is gearing up for the 30th edition of its Lobsterfest event next month.
The all-you-can-eat feast will see one metric tonne of New Brunswick lobster and 350 pounds of roasted chicken served. There will also be a raffle, a silent auction and first-class entertainment.
The event, which traditionally attracts about 1,000 patrons, is slated to take place on May 30 at the Ciociaro Club at 3745 Talbot Rd. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The dinner includes all-you-can-eat lobster, roasted chicken, penne and salad.
The dinner will be followed by dancing to the tunes of Mid-Life Jazz.
There will be several raffle prizes and a silent auction table with items ranging from a custom-made suit fine jewelry, small appliances, patio accessories and excursion packages.
Proceeds from the event go to to support the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland’s local and international projects.
