Spring cleaning your wardrobe? Consider a swap!
Local athlete Lindsay Gammon is raising money to participate in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer this summer by hosting a community clothing swap on Thursday, May 15.
Never swapped before? Here’s how it works: You bring in at least 10 gently used and laundered clothing items and trade them for 10 “new” items from other swappers. So it’s like shopping, but for free!
Want in? Admission is $10 and all proceeds go towards Lindsay and her team’s $200,000 fundraising goal. Bump Maternity at 1719 Wyandotte St. E. will be accepting items to sort up until May 14. Please note: Only men’s and women’s clothing will be accepted at this swap. Shoes and accessories are welcome. Any un-swapped items will be donated to charity.
