LaSalle police are looking for a person who was in distress and placed several 911 calls asking for help on Wednesday.
The reception was poor, but the GPS location of the phone showed it to be in the area of Morton Drive at Malden Road.
The caller’s voice was faint and appeared to have trouble breathing.
An unsuccessful ground and neighbourhood search by police failed to find the caller.
There was also an unsuccessful search of the nearby wooded areas of Brunet Park and Morton Trails.
