Windsor police are looking for a pair of brazen robbers who attacked a woman in broad daylight on a city street, punched her in the face and ran off with her purse.
The victim stepped off a Transit Windsor bus at Sandwich and Brock streets around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Two women approached her. One of them demanded her purse. The robbers pulled at the purse and punched her in the face.
Once they got the purse – a large gold and red bag with a magnetic flap — the robbers ran off toward Chippawa Street.
One of the women was white, 5’7″ and 160 pounds with short black hair. She was wearing jeans, a plain navy t-shirt and may have had a hoop earring in her right ear.
The second attacker was white, 5’6″ and 140 pounds with a small build. She had a long curly pony tail and was wearing baggy jogging pants and a white t-shirt with some kind of drawing on it.
