The cause of an early morning house fire in South Windsor is undetermined, fire officials say.
The fire broke out around 8 a.m. in the 2800 block of McKay Avenue. There were no injuries.
Chief Fire Prevention Officer Lee Tome said the fire origninated in the basement of the house and was put out within 30 minutes. Nobody was home at the single-family dwelling at the time of the incident, said Tome.
A fire investigator attended the scene to look into the incident and was unable to determine a cause. Damage is estimated at $75,000.
