A Jeep driver and a cyclist are both facing charges after a collision early this morning.
It happened at Rivard Avenue and Tecumseh Road around 1:40 a.m.
Officers arrived to find paramedics taking care of a 50-year-old Windsor man. He suffered some bruises and abrasions but didn’t need hospital treatment.
Nearby there was a 2006 Jeep Liberty with about $500 in front end damage. Officers learned the driver, a 30-year-old Windsor woman, was turning into a parking lot when a cyclist ran into her side door.
Police said the cyclist was at fault in the collision, and they charged him with riding in a cross walk.
But the woman was a suspended driver, police said, so they also charged her with driving while under suspension.
