Nearly half of Ontario’s students will be affected by the “Super Tuesday” strikes today.
Teachers with the Greater Essex County District School Board will stage a one-day strike along with about 35,000 other teachers at seven other school boards across Ontario today as part of their ongoing battle against Bill 115.
Today’s strikes will act as a last stand by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario before a Dec. 31 deadline for bargaining.
The Star will be on scene but we want to hear how the strike is affecting you.
