Two people are in custody after a mistaken gun call led Windsor police officers to discover drugs in a Bridge Avenue home Tuesday night.
Windsor police were called to a home on Bridge between Riverside Drive and University Avenue West at around 4:45 p.m. after a passing neighbour thought they saw a person in the window of the home carrying a gun.
Police were called and Bridge was closed between Riverside and University while officers conducted their investigation.
Officers eventually entered the home and no weapon was found, but a quantity of an undisclosed narcotic was discovered, and two people were taken into custody.
Police said charges are pending.
Bridge was closed for about an hour.
