Woman pleads guilty to dangerous driving in fatal crash

A Windsor woman pleaded guilty Friday to dangerous driving causing death for a single-vehicle crash on Riverside Drive last year.

Stephanie Angela Bravo, 22, sat weeping in the body of the courtroom Friday before her case was called. She pleaded guilty to one of the three charges she faces.

After the crash in the early morning of Jan. 29, 2012,  Bravo was also charged with impaired driving causing death and breaching a condition not to consume alcohol.

Sharri Lluhani, 24, died in the black Dodge truck Bravo was driving. The truck slammed into a parked trailer on Riverside Drive East near Clover Avenue.

Lluhani’s father and brother attended Bravo’s brief court appearance Friday. His dad left the courthouse in tears.

Bravo remains free on bail until her sentencing hearing next month.

Lluhani, an immigrant from Albania, was working at Elite Roofing at the time of his death. He had just been promoted to.supervisor.
