Police arrested a Windsor man late Saturday after he allegedly slashed someone in the face with a box cutter during a heated argument.
Around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, officers went to the 600 block of Victoria Avenue for the report of a fight where a man had been slashed in the face with a knife.
Officers arrived to find a 49-year-old man with a bloody laceration on the left side of his face. Several witnesses told police the name of the attacker, who was still there.
Police said the men got into an argument that turned physical. One man slashed the other in the face with a box cutter. Police recovered the box cutter at the scene.
The victim received several stitches to close the laceration on his face.
Christopher Marshall, 60, of Windsor, is charged with aggravated assault and breach of probation.
