A Windsor man was rushed into surgery Thursday night after he arrived at Hotel-Dieu with a gunshot wound to his side.
Windsor police said the 32-year-old Windsor man was driven to Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
The victim had suffered a single gunshot wound to the right side of his torso, police said.
The man was then rushed into surgery and is currently in critical condition.
Windsor police are talking to the driver who they say is cooperating with the investigation.
Police suspect the incident may have happened at a residence in the 600 block of Felix Avenue in the city’s west end.
