Windsor police are asking for the public’s help in a suspicious east end minivan fire.
Police said Saturday, shortly after 3 a.m., Windsor firefighters extinguished a blaze that gutted a 2003 Chevrolet Venture minivan.
The vehicle was parked by Norman Road and Alice Street. Damage was estimated at $9,000.
Officers contacted the owner of the van but haven’t determined the cause of the fire. It is unknown at this time whether the
damage was electrical or an act of vandalism, according to Staff Sgt. Steve Bodri.
No injuries were reported. The Windsor police arson squad will continue the investigation.
