Police are on the lookout for three suspects following a gunpoint home invasion in the city’s east end Friday night.

Windsor Police responded to the 1000 block of Henry Ford Centre Drive shortly before 9 p.m. Officers were told that three males had broken into the home and that one of them was holding a handgun.

A 51-year-old woman and her 17-year-old son were the only two who were home during the time of the incident, said police. While in the kitchen, the son said he heard someone at the door and when he looked up, he saw the three males enter the home, said police. The male holding the handgun then pushed the 17-year-old into a chair and demanded drugs and money, said police.

The suspects stole some property from the home which police are not providing details about at this time. Following the incident, they fled the area in an unknown direction, according to police.

“This was clearly a targeted home invasion,” said Staff Sgt. Steve Bodri.

The first suspect is described by police as a five-foot-eight white man, pale, skinny, around 15-18 years old, brown hair, baby face features, wearing a black sweater and carrying a black handgun.

The second suspect is described as a light-skinned black man, around six-feet, approximately 20 years old, thin build, curly black hair with a two inch afro, wearing a black and grey scarf covering his face, a black coat with fur around the hood, dark jeans and a two finger ring over his ring and pinky finger.

It is unknown the age or sex of the third suspect but police say they were wearing a hoodie.

Anyone with any information regarding the home invasion is urged to contact police at 519- 255-6700 ext. 4830 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (519)-258-TIPS (8477).
